Who We Are

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a National health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland.


What You Will Do

We are looking to appoint a Specialist Lead to provide programme management support for national quality improvement training programmes, and participate as core faculty facilitating the delivery of these programmes.


Key tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Participate as part of the national faculty team delivering the Scottish Improvement Leader programme, Scottish Coaching and Leading for Improvement programme and Scottish Improvement Foundation skills
  • Deliver content for programmes to a range of audiences in a range of settings, including virtually
  • Provide project management support to programme leads for efficient delivery of the courses
  • Devise and collate background papers, briefs and reports for internal and external stakeholders


What You Will Bring

This will include but is not limited to:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
  • Experience of facilitating the delivery of educational programmes ·
  • Expertise in project management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team


Please note that frequent travel within the UK is a requirement of this role.
