Who We Are 
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a special health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland.

NHS Education for Scotland is seeking a Customer Support Agent to join the Turas Support team within the Delivery Business Unit of the Digital Directorate.

The Delivery Business Unit aims to maximise NES’s return on its investment in digital products and services by focusing on ensuring we are delivering the right thing, to the right people at the highest quality. Part of the Delivery Business Unit, the Turas Support team provide user and technical support for the Turas platform – NES’ single, unified platform for health and social care professionals.


What you'll do  

The postholder will play a key role in delivering valuable solutions to help support the work of NES.

Key tasks will include but are not restricted to:

•    Responding to support enquiries in a timely, courteous and helpful manner via the Service Desk system
•    Investigating reported technical issues
•    Escalating significant issues to the Support Team lead and/or Delivery teams 
•    Working with other team members to establish common themes with enquiries and making suggestions for how the product(s) can be improved to reduce support enquires.


What you'll bring 

•    Experience of working in a customer service environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    A thorough and patient approach with a strong desire to resolve any customer issues to the satisfaction of the end user
•    An accurate eye for detail
•    An ability to quickly understand complex business processes
