Full Time; 37.5 hours per week

NES is a remote friendly employer supporting office, remote and hybrid working.  Contractual base location will be agreed at appointment.

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a special health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland.


What you'll do

Key tasks will include but are not restricted to;

  • Responsible for identifying suitable operations and processes for automating/ streamlining.
  • Business engagement and training, advising on product capabilities and best practices guidance.
  • Provide business intelligence reporting, including user adoption to allow focused support, training and resource planning where required.
  • Administering and monitoring NES’s technical infrastructure and systems where possible in-keeping with nationally identified solutions and collaboration roadmaps. 
  • Ensuring that any systems development is done in compliance with agreed standards such as ISO 27001


What you'll bring

These will include but are not restricted to;

  • To provide business engagement with stakeholders, scoping business owner requirements and development of agreed agile development plans 
  • To develop business systems and promote use of existing portfolio of cloud-based system and applications. 
  • Engaging with technical resource and service providers to match with business requirements. 
  • To provide specialist knowledge on operational and development technologies that can be utilised in operations as well as other areas of Digital to suit a flexible resource model
