An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for recruitment of a full time (37.5hrs) Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our OT Team working within the CAMHS Service (Children & Adolescent Mental Health Service). (Part-time hours may be considered)


This position will offer the post holder the opportunity to work with young people who struggle with a variety of mental health challenges and who may also have an additional neurodevelopmental diagnosis. The team provides a predominantly specialist service to young people who are already supported by the CAMHS Multi-Disciplinary Service and there are also opportunities to develop and provide universal & targeted interventions to children and young people.


You will be required to work in a variety of settings including the home environment, mainstream schools and colleges, community settings and out-patient clinics. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of professionals and agencies including education, other health professionals and social work.


This post will be based in Dudhope House, Dundee - the team covers the whole of Tayside.


The Occupational Therapy Service offers supervision, appraisal, regular in-service training and is committed to Continued Professional Development.
