The shift pattern for this post are 5 days over the 7.

Full-time position. However, may be appointed as multiple part-time positions.

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and highly motivated dietitians to join the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS), based at Lightburn Hospital, 966 Carntyne Road, Glasgow, G32 6NB.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced dietitians to join our friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team, which includes Dietitians, Clinical Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Technical Instructor and Administrators. These permanent posts is a vital part of our service and offers opportunities to make a real difference to patients' lives.

The service delivers Tier 3 Specialist Weight Management, providing structured, multidisciplinary support to individuals with complex obesity and associated comorbidities. In addition to delivering Tier 3 weight management interventions, our clinicians also contribute to the delivery of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Tier 4 Bariatric

Surgery Weight Management Service, offering opportunities to support patients through surgical pathways and multidisciplinary care. Weight Management Services across Scotland are entering an exciting phase of transformation, with innovation and service redesign at the heart of national priorities. As part of this momentum, NHSGGC SWMS is playing a leading role in shaping new, evidence-based models of care that aim to enhance accessibility, effectiveness, and long-term outcomes for people living with obesity. This is a rare opportunity to be directly involved in service innovation; contributing your ideas, testing new approaches, and helping to shape the future direction of weight management delivery across NHS Scotland.

You will work collaboratively within the team to provide expert clinical care, including comprehensive dietetic assessment, treatment, and management of service users. You will deliver one-to-one clinic appointments and lead group education sessions, playing an active role in supporting the wider team in service delivery and ongoing improvement.

Presentation: Candidates invited to interview will be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation. The presentation is 'The Role of the Specialist Weight Management Dietitian in a Changing Weight Management Landscape'
