Scottish Quality Safety Fellowship Educational Leads
- Senior Educator Band 8A – up to 15hours per week
- Consultant- 1-2 PAs per week (4-8 hours)
Duration: 12 month fixed term/secondment post

Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
The Quality Improvement Team, as part of the Medical Directorate, is responsible for the development and delivery of quality improvement training and development across the Scottish Public Sector.
What you'll do
We are looking to appoint a Senior Educator or Educational Lead to support the internationally recognised Scottish Quality Safety Fellowship Programme. Working alongside SQSF Clinical Lead to support development of content, delivery and evaluation of SQSF programme.
Key tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Participate as part of the SQSF faculty team, planning, teaching, facilitating and coaching on SQSF programme
- Work collaboratively and innovatively with stakeholders to establish and continually improve how SQSF is delivered, ensuring they meet stakeholder requirements
- Contribute to the evaluation of SQSF
- Deliver content for SQSF. This includes flexibility to travel as well as effectively delivering resources through online platforms
- Develop and support Fellows network to support ongoing development post programme
What you'll bring
- Completion of lead level quality improvement programme
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience of applying quality Improvement (QI) methodology and leading organisational QI initiatives
- Ability to teach, facilitate and coach teams and individuals in improvement methodology
- Excellent team player and interpersonal skills
