Are you a newly qualified physiotherapist looking for an exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of experience?

Or maybe you are you looking to expand your existing skills and experience within a different setting?

We have an exciting opportunity for two physiotherapists to join our dynamic and friendly Physiotherapy Service.  There are currently four (six monthly) rotations within Angus which are:

Community rehabilitation: includes inpatient rehab in the community hospitals, Early Supported Discharge/Prevention of Admission Schemes (run jointly with Angus Social work Department) and general domiciliary referrals.  There is also the opportunity to gain experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Better Balance classes.

MSK outpatient:  caseload deals mainly with musculo-skeletal patients referred from GP's or Consultants and referrals from our First Contact Physiotherapy service.   There will be the opportunity to gain experience with our specialists in the spinal service, rheumatology and first contact clinicians.

Stroke rehabilitation: this provides the opportunity to work within the new Dundee and Angus Stroke Pathway where there is a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinary team working, helping patients to reach their full potential

Orthopaedics: gain experience in elective surgery within the wards at Stracathro hospital working with the physiotherapy team to provide input from pre-assessment to planned discharge.

All rotations involve working within the multi-disciplinary team and there will also be the opportunity to be involved in student supervision.

An active in-service training programme is in place both with the local based and the Angus Physiotherapy Service.  Personal and Professional Development is structured via the TURAS appraisal system.  NHS Tayside also supports Flying Start for newly qualified staff.

You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
