A fantastic opportunity has arisen for newly qualified and experienced theatre practitioners to join the Cardiac scrub team within the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. NHS Golden Jubilee has traditionally supported NHS Scotland to deliver Heart and Lung services, both locally and nationally, and to provide high volume elective surgery. This includes the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish Advanced Heart Failure Service and the National Organ Retrieval Service. As a theatre practitioner, you will be part of a pioneering team of dynamic individuals, scrubbing for diagnostic procedures as well as life-saving surgery such as heart transplants. We currently have 15 theatres, 4 of which are dedicated to Cardiac surgery. As part of the Golden Jubilee Hospital expansion, we will increase our theatres to 20 and include a 5 room purpose built Endoscopy suite.

These roles require flexible working, covering on call rotas overnight and at weekends.
