Band 4 Health Care Support Worker to support our Frailty Pathway
Full Time 37.5 Hrs per week
We are recruiting to a full time 37.5 hours per week Band 4 Health Care Support Worker Post in Occupational Therapy within the Frailty Pathway in Aberdeen City.
The Band 4 post will complement our existing Occupational Therapy workforce and be based initially within Rosewell House to support the development of out-reach and community rehabilitation on discharge from the unit. This is a new and exciting role for an experienced Band 3. Candidates should have experience of working at Band 3 level within health and social care, community and or hospital settings.
Applicants should be enthusiastic about OT practice and welcome the opportunity to develop their skills and competencies in relation to frailty, in-patient and community rehabilitation. The successful applicants will require to have excellent communication skills and be a good team player. Training and support for professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support safe practice.
Candidates should be aware that there will be a requirement to travel therefore holding a full driving licence, with access to a car, is essential for these posts.
Candidates will work weekends as part of a 5/7 day rota.
