Applications are invited for the permanent post of Document Processing Group Leader within P&CFS Scanning Services, Bain Square, Livingston.

The scanning department provides a service which predominately supports P&CFS with Pharmacy prescription processing, preparing and scanning in the region of 300,000 forms per day. The department also provides scanning services for a variety of other Strategic Business Units including SNBTS, HR and CLO.

As a Document Processing Group Leader you would share the line management responsibility of 18 Document Processing Operators who sort, prepare and scan claim submissions from Primary Care Contractors in Scotland on behalf of Primary Care Trusts and Island Health Boards; General Medical Practitioners, General Dental Practitioners, General Ophthalmic Practitioners and Community Pharmacists using high speed IBML image scanning technology.

We are seeking an individual with previous experience in both line management and high speed Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) scanning technology who can maintain a high level of concentration and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure within a noisy environment.
