Cardiac Nurse Specialist (Ref: 25711)
Band 6 - Salary Range £31,800 - £39,169 per annum pro rata
FullTime – 37.5 hours per week
(22.5 hours on a fixed term for 6 months)
This exciting role will allow the successful applicant to work alongside the lead Cardiac Nurse Specialist in the delivery of all Cardiac Services across NHS Shetland.
We are seeking a committed, highly motivated nurse, who has a knowledge of evidence based cardiac care and/or relevant experience. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation and teaching skills, together with an enthusiasm to develop new ideas. Proven evidence of professional development, determination, drive and commitment are essential for this post. The ability to work autonomously and within the multidisciplinary team setting is essential.
The post holder will receive full support from the lead Cardiac Nurse Specialist and will be given the opportunity to develop/expand their skills and knowledge base to an advanced level.

In addition to salary, all posts qualify for a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,895 per annum (pro rata for part-time and fixed term positions).
