Are you looking for a change of scenery?

Shetland is the most northerly part of the United Kingdom and boasts a quality of life which will enable you to have the community nursing role you want and the more relaxed lifestyle you have been dreaming of.

No matter whether you’re just starting out in your career or are looking to use your experience to develop the next generation of nurses working in community, NHS Shetland will welcome you into our nursing family.

As Community Nurses we support residents and visitors from Fair Isle to Unst and everywhere in between, from our main town of Lerwick to the most remote and isolated island croft house In Fair Isle, Foula or Out Skerries.

We have time to spend with patients and can provide person-centred nursing care in the stunning, family friendly rural setting that is Shetland.

During the response to COVID-19, our team worked together to meet the needs of our community and support the care of our most vulnerable people in a way which has developed and strengthened  partnership working across Health and Social Care.
