Bank hours available
Band 2 - Salary Range £18,600 - £20,606 per annum pro-rata
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1895 per annum pro-rata
Bank working arrangements are used to cover shifts/part shifts where, for example, we have vacant posts or unexpected absence/illness.
Opportunities have arisen for a qualified chef to join our busy catering team at the Gilbert Bain Hospital. The main duties of this role are to assist in the production of meals for hospital patients, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will be able to understand detailed instructions as well as relevant legislation. With good literacy, numeracy and communication skills, you will also be able to demonstrate flair in the kitchen and motivate the team as necessary.
You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role – details can be viewed on http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Resource/Doc/288863/0088362.pdf
