Applications are invited for the post of Bank Consultant Radiologists who will join the existing multidisciplinary team within the Radiology Department.
Our Radiology service carries out over 72,000 examinations per year, across CT, MRI, U/S, and General X-Ray. As the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre, and also a large Orthopaedic Waiting Times Centre; this role will support the existing Radiology Reporting Service, and also enable training for existing staff within the National Services provided on-site.
You will join the consortium of existing Consultant Radiologists to enable full support of the Cardiothoracic and Orthopaedic imaging work-streams. With 4 MRI (1.5T), 2 CT scanners and a general workload, previous CT and MRI experience is essential for this role to.
We have the opportunity to offer a flexible session/s per week to fit in with your current job plan, and there is a 1:16 weekend on-call commitment.
