NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a special health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland.
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance to the Business Support Team who primarily provide administrative support to the Dental Care Professionals (DCP) workstream, supporting Lead DCP Tutors and a team of Dental Tutors in the delivery, assessment and quality assurance of all DCP education and training programmes, which includes using a range of methods and technology to support education and training.
The Business Support Team is a shared service and collaboratively works with external bodies, additional Dental Workstreams, variety of directorates, while supporting other NHS Education for Scotland activities when required.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Administration Assistant to join the Business Support Team. This post will be based at the Aberdeen Dental Education Centre, Cornhill Road, Aberdeen (ADEC).
As an effective team player, you will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. Previous administrative or similar experience would be advantageous, but training and support will be provided.
You will be expected to deal with a range of queries from a variety of professionals in a courteous and professional manner. Working on a variety of databases, inputting sensitive personal information, confidentially, accuracy and attention to detail is essential while adhering to NHS Education for Scotland Data Protection policies and procedures.
