We have an exciting development opportunity for a fixed term (24 months) Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist within our Mental Health Team(s) in Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre.

You will become part of the Mental Health services. Providing Cognitive behavioral therapy to individual with moderate to severe mental health problems and carrying out Specialist Shared Assessment.  The role will be to provide this on individual/group basis. Duties also include supporting the allocation of referrals to Psychological Therapy, ensuring any waits are minimized through effective caseload management and supervision of a junior staff member

You should also have previous experience of working in a Mental Health setting with the ability to demonstrate a sound application of the core skills of the profession and their application within a mental health setting. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check. You must have core profession of 1st level Mental Health Nurse or Occupational therapist.  The shift pattern for this post is 9.00am – 5.00pm, may require some evening work.  If you wish to apply for this as a secondment please discuss this with your present line manager in the first instance.
