Edinburgh/Glasgow - remote working will apply for the foreseeable future

This is an exciting opportunity for proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join the Improvement Hub (ihub) within Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) and support delivery of our work in the Living Well in Communities and Primary Care Improvement Portfolios.

We are looking for people with experience of supporting service, organisational or system improvement across health and social care using improvement methodologies. The diversity of our work requires an adaptable approach to improvement support that can be applied to any setting including those based within communities.

The ability to build relationships and motivate people and organisations to drive change is a significant part of the role. Strong communication, interpersonal and team working skills are therefore required. You should also have the ability to develop others through a range approaches including coaching, mentoring and facilitation.

The evolving and changing nature of our work also means that the ability to work to deadlines and effectively manage and adapt to change is important. These posts offer the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across Scotland based within a dynamic and impactful team.

Candidates should be educated to MSc level or have equivalent training in an aspect of implementation and improvement science or extensive practical experience of supporting implementation and improvement programmes at a national level. We welcome applications from a wide-range of professional backgrounds and sectors.
