Lochee Medical Practice, NHS Tayside are seeking a committed, General Practitioner (GP) to help deliver sustainable services to meet the needs of the changing demographics and health needs of our population in Lochee, Dundee.  We are proud to provide quality care aimed at addressing health inequalities and plan to increase our focus on engaging patients in their healthcare decisions.

There are up to eight sessions available (40 hours, inclusive of 4 hours CPD) – Number of sessions/hours negotiable.

  • Well organised 2c practice looking for a GP to complete our dynamic team
  • We have a fun and hard-working team led together by our full time Practice Manager, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a new Clinical Lead GP
  • Further supported by our enthusiastic team of five GPs with a range of clinical interests
  • Excellent & fully staffed nursing team with full responsibility for CDMs
  • Fantastic administration team with efficient systems to average Docman under ten items daily/clinician on site
  • We are Practice Lead within our Cluster and engage in a range of Quality Improvement Programmes (QIP)
  • GPs run with 15 minute appointments for eight same day consultations, two GP bookable review consultations and time thereafter for any face to face appointments / tasks
  • Shared duty doctor system and low home visit rate averaging 1-2 daily for the whole practice
  • Twice daily huddle and protected meetings for clinical and team development
  • We benefit from on-site services; physiotherapy, pharmacotherapy, podiatry, community care and treatment service
  • Based in newly redeveloped premises with twenty-five clinical rooms
  • A personal laptop will be available to allow any remote working if required
  • Promote Continued Professional Development (CPD) with additional study leave and budget available
  • Relocation Package may also be possible for eligible candidates
  • Generous Annual Leave & Public Holiday entitlement
