Applications are invited from Physiotherapists who are keen to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in Inverness and Ross & Cromarty which includes rotations in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness; Ross Memorial Hospital, Dingwall, New Craigs Hospital and at the RNI, Inverness.
The rotations comprise of opportunities within the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Medical, Surgical/ITU, Rehabilitation/Stroke, Rheumatology, MSK Outpatients and Community Rehab. Within these rotations further experience can be gained in Hydrotherapy, Pulmonary Rehab, Mental Health, Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Paediatrics and Occupational Health.
An active continuous professional development programme, and staff supervision system are in operation.
Participation in the emergency duty respiratory on-call service and orthopaedic weekend service are required on a rota basis.
The ability to work both independently, and as part of a team, in providing an efficient and effective physiotherapy service is essential, as are excellent communication skills.
Applicants must be HCPC registered. Previous experience as a Band 5 Physiotherapist and supervising support worker staff would be desirable but applications are also welcome from new graduate physiotherapists.
