£21,814  equating to £11.18 per hour pro rata

We run Scotland’s largest NHS Nursing and Midwifery Staff Bank which provides our Bank staff every day priority access to a wide range of short and long term flexible work options.


The Opportunity

Our current recruitment programme is seeking to select candidates who will be allocated Bank shifts across a range of Monday–Friday Day Shift Work Patterns.

If your application is successful a condition of the appointments process is that you must complete an online induction training programme consisting of 22 modules and additional virtual information.  Following this, you will be required to complete 3 induction/training shifts within a 3 week period of completing the selection process.

Successful candidates will be allocated bank shifts across a number of our hospital and ward locations.


  • Glasgow Royal Infirmary 
  • Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
